Job summary

The University of Georgia is seeking a Compliance Monitor (Temporary) to welcome and assist patrons during events at the Athens Campus. You will help guests with parking and transportation needs and work with a team to ensure safe, smooth arrivals and departures.

This position is 20-25 hours per week with shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will interact with visitors and support staff to provide excellent service and safety.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Positive attitude with a focus on customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide parking information and direction to customers.
• Direct traffic into parking lots and to assigned areas.
• Hold traffic to allow shuttles to enter/exit the area.
• Keep traffic moving smoothly and drive lanes clear.
• Keep lots clean and free of debris.
• Provide high levels of customer service.

Position Summary

Parking Event Staff are the front line personnel for greeting, engaging, and interacting with all patrons entering and exiting the parking areas. The position will assist patrons with parking and transportation needs for special events within and around the University of Georgia‑Athens Campus. Work with a team to create a safe environment for patrons to arrive and depart from University events.
