Job summary

RockWallet LLC is seeking a Compliance Manager, Testing & Assurance to lead Compliance Operations and self-testing activities for our digital assets platform. The role reports to the Chief Compliance Officer and partners with product, engineering, and external auditors to ensure regulatory alignment.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in compliance or risk assurance, knowledge of BSA/AML for MSBs/VASPs, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in compliance, self-testing, or risk assurance, including management responsibility.
• CAMS or equivalent certification preferred, not required.
• Deep knowledge of BSA/AML requirements for MSBs and VASPs, including PATRIOT Act, EDD, PEP, OFAC.
• Familiarity with consumer protection regulations (privacy, marketing, EFT, disclosures, deposits).
• Experience with automated transaction monitoring systems and related platforms.
• Experience drafting and editing BSA/AML procedures and workflows.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter who works well independently; work-from-home capability.

• Set governance over testing methodologies, documentation, and reporting.
• Identify AI and automation opportunities in self-testing, including data analytics (SQL, Python).

• Track remediation plans through to completion and report KPIs to management.
• Coordinate with auditors and stakeholders to drive compliant solutions.
• Communicate regulatory requirements across business lines and provide guidance.

ROLE OVERVIEW

ReportingtotheChiefComplianceOfficer, theCompliance Manager, Testing & Assurancewillbe responsible forthe duties and obligations listed below.

KeyResponsibilities

• Serve as operational lead and second-in-command forCompliance Operations,providingday-to-day guidance to Compliance team members and technical compliance expertise to Product, Engineering, and other business partners.
• Partner with the CCO to build, review, and revise the annual self-testing plan, and execute it per the Self-Testing Policy
• Set governance over testing methodologies, standards, sample sizing, documentation, and reporting, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements
• Identifyand drive AI and automation opportunities across the self-testing program, including data analytics (SQL, Python, BI tools) for sampling, trend analysis, and anomaly detection
• Document testing steps, results, and issues in organized workpapers and an observation log, noting criticality, owner, and resolution
• Track remediation plans through to completion
• Report self-testing KPIs to Compliance management on a regular cadence
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including audit, to drive compliant solutions and respond to audit requests
• Communicate legal and regulatory requirements across business lines,providingcompliance guidance
• Otherdutiesasrequired.

• Experience with automated transaction monitoring systems and related platforms that support compliance operations, including customer support and case management systems
• Experience drafting and editing BSA/AML procedures and workflows
• Strong analytical, leadership, and written/verbal communication skills
• Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-moving, evolving regulatory environment
