Job summary

National Housing Compliance (NHC) is seeking experienced MOR Contractors to perform on-site reviews for HUD-assisted multifamily properties in Illinois and Georgia. You will work to ensure compliance with HUD regulations and NHC standards, including NSPIRE follow-up and thorough documentation.

The ideal contractor can travel 50%+ of the time, communicate clearly with owners and managers, and produce accurate written reports. Prior MOR experience and COS certification are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of HUD Section 8 Multifamily Housing program regulations.
• Property management and/or HUD-assisted multifamily housing experience required.
• Previous MORs experience strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, data review, and report-writing skills.
• Excellent customer service and professional communication skills, including experience working directly with property owners and management agents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HUD secure systems.
• COS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability and willingness to travel 50% or more, including some overnight travel.

• Prepare clear, accurate, and comprehensive written reports documenting review findings.
• Communicate professionally with property owners, agents, management staff, and NHC representatives.
• Ensure assigned work is completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with HUD regulations and NHC performance standards.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and confidentiality throughout the review process.
• Travel to assigned properties, including occasional overnight travel.

National Housing Compliance (NHC) is seeking experienced Management and Occupancy Review (MOR) Contractors to conduct on-site reviews for an assigned portfolio of HUD-assisted multifamily properties in Illinois and Georgia.

The MOR Contractor will be responsible for conducting comprehensive Management and Occupancy Reviews in accordance with HUD Form 9834, completing follow-up related to NSPIRE inspection results, reviewing and analyzing property documentation, and preparing thorough written reports. All work must be performed in accordance with applicable HUD program regulations and NHC standards of performance.
