About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance Manager to oversee product testing, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance for our hard and soft goods. This position reports to our Compliance Director and is crucial for ensuring our products comply with all safety and regulatory standards while facilitating seamless product development, factory transitions, and supplier onboarding.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee product compliance testing processes, such as test planning, sample coordination, lab communication, and report review.
• Ensure compliance with CPSC regulations, ASTM standards, and international requirements.
• Prepare and oversee Test Request Forms (TRFs) and assist suppliers throughout the testing and certification process.
• Review final test reports, coordinate retesting as needed and maintain all related documentation for ongoing and annual testing cycles.
• Collaborate with Customer Service to review and resolve product issues, including Amazon returns and SCAR/CAP cases, by communicating directly with the factories.
• Oversee BV/SILQ pre-shipment inspections, review the inspection reports, and provide approvals or feedback for shipping.
• Ensure that tech packs are accurate, up-to-date, and ready for inspection in coordination with the product development team.
• Monitor in-process core inspection reports from ITC and follow up on necessary corrective action plans (CAPs).
• Oversee packaging compliance and support product packaging review processes.
• Participate in onboarding and evaluating suppliers to ensure that new partners meet the company's quality and compliance standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners and lead factory visits and product quality reviews in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in product compliance, testing, or quality assurance.
• Previous experience in consumer goods or juvenile products.
• In-depth knowledge of CPSC, ASTM, and other relevant safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience working with third-party testing labs and global suppliers.
• Experience with soft goods is crucial, and knowledge of hard goods and their combinations is beneficial.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
