Job Description

BUSINESS UNIT AND ROLE OVERVIEW

Financial Crime Compliance ("FCC") is responsible for implementing the firm's enterprise-wide Anti-Money Laundering ("AML"), anti-bribery, and government sanctions programs. This includes conducting enhanced due diligence, government sanctions screening, surveillance, and investigations to identify potential terrorist financing, money laundering, bribery, market abuse, or other suspicious activities.

OPPORTUNITY

FCC is seeking an individual to join its FCC SAMR Level 2 Investigations team. The role involves conducting transactional investigations to identify AML red flags and escalate or mitigate suspicious activities. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, the ability to collaborate, manage projects, and multi-task. The role requires working closely with compliance, operations, technology, and business teams, with a quick understanding of the firm's operations and regulatory environment.

Principal Responsibilities:

The analyst will review transaction alerts, conduct investigations into potential suspicious activities, identify patterns related to money laundering or terrorist financing, and support the filing of Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR). The role includes daily transactional reviews, supporting AML & Fraud processes, and responding to law enforcement requests.
