Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana offers a part-time internship opportunity supporting a compliance team. You will assist with assigned portions of review programs, document findings, and help strengthen regulatory alignment across the organization.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an undergraduate degree with at least 60 credit hours completed; law students and those with Internal Audit coursework are encouraged to apply. Louisiana residency or relocation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Management, Finance, Law, Information Systems, or related field.
• Must have completed at least 60 credit hours in undergrad.
• Law students: second-year preferred.
• Internal Audit coursework a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with compliance review programs to assess compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies.
• Support and document findings, prepare reports, and help align with regulatory expectations.
• Collaborate with compliance consultants and program managers on projects.
• Work with the Director on enhancements and efficiency opportunities within the department.
