Job summary

FNBO is seeking a Compliance Data Enablement Intern to assist with data analysis, reporting, and process improvement within the Compliance Monitoring & Testing and Data Enablement teams. The role is suitable for students or early-career candidates who are curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how data supports effective compliance oversight.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, and automation tools, and able to communicate progress clearly while

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in data analytics, business analytics, information systems, CS, finance, econ, compliance, risk mgmt, or related field.
• Strong coursework or experience in data analysis, reporting, or process improvement.
• Interest in compliance, risk management, financial services, and data practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with gathering, organizing, validating, and analyzing compliance data.
• Support dashboards, trackers, reports, and summaries for stakeholders.
• Identify trends, data quality issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Document data sources, definitions, and reporting logic for repeatability.
• Learn and apply Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, Power Automate, and related tools.
• Maintain data inventories, templates, and job aids to support data literacy.
