Job Description: Compliance Customer Success Manager at Skillsoft

Skillsoft is seeking an experienced Compliance Customer Success Manager with a passion for digital learning to enable organizations to adopt a risk-based approach to compliance learning and measure its effectiveness. This role manages a portfolio of complex customers across all market segments, focusing on customer retention and satisfaction.

As a Compliance Customer Success Manager, you will work closely with the customer's learning leaders post-purchase of Skillsoft Compliance solutions to ensure their desired outcomes through onboarding, adoption, expansion, and renewal. You will develop and execute account strategies, establish key performance indicators, and help customers achieve their compliance goals. Collaboration with Account Executives and internal teams is essential to ensure high renewal rates.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Establish trusted advisor relationships with customers to drive value of our Compliance products and services.
  2. Consult during the definition, implementation, launch, promotion, and evaluation of the Compliance digital learning programs.
  3. Provide guidance on Skillsoft Compliance content, platform solutions, and service offerings.
  4. Develop relationships, advocate for customers, and facilitate resolution of issues.
  5. Assist customers in developing and enhancing their Compliance learning initiatives.
  6. Maintain communication regarding adoption, usage trends, satisfaction, and opportunities for engagement.
  7. Conduct business reviews to measure progress and ensure value realization.
  8. Stay updated on Compliance trends and regulations; recommend content needs.
  9. Identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities through white space analysis.
  10. Collaborate with the account team to ensure expansion and renewal.
  11. Drive customer retention and growth by understanding business needs and achieving activity and renewal goals.
  12. Proactively address potential issues and manage resolution escalations.
  13. Monitor account health, identify risks, and mitigate them.
  14. Respond promptly to activities and follow-up tasks.
Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Customer Success, sales, or professional services experience with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in compliance training or consulting with account management responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Customer Success tools like Gainsight.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; proficient in Word and Outlook; excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Solid knowledge of the digital learning industry and understanding of customer business drivers.
  • Ability to support complex accounts and manage a high-volume customer base.
  • Understanding of regulatory environments relevant to training and risk reduction.
  • Effective project management and organizational skills.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong teamwork and strategic partnership skills.
  • Adaptability to change in customer strategies and organizational directions.
  • Remote US opportunity, preferably East Coast, with 10-20% travel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of current Compliance Legal and ES&H standards.
  • Ability to build relationships across customer teams.
  • Experience in data analysis, visualization, and demonstrating value.
  • Advising customers on Compliance content based on Skillsoft library.
Compensation and Benefits

The target salary range is approximately $85,000 - $93,000 annually, with average on-target earnings including commissions of approximately $102,000 - $114,000. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and paid time off. Salaries and pay plans are subject to modification as needed.
