USIC is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to administer pre-employment background checks and drug testing, ensuring timely, compliant candidate experiences. You will monitor reports, request information, verify PII, and maintain records in Workday.
In this non-exempt hourly role, you will collaborate with Talent Acquisition to resolve delays and escalate issues as needed, supporting a fast-paced hiring process while upholding employment laws and confidentiality.
Location: 9045 River Road, Indianapolis, IN 46240 Hybrid schedule – Mondays and Fridays remote; Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays in office

The Compliance Coordinator plays a critical role in administering and coordinating the pre-employment background check and drug testing processes, ensuring a timely, compliant, and positive candidate experience. Key responsibilities include monitoring background checks and drug tests for completion, coordinating directly with candidates to collect additional information when needed, maintaining accurate records, and serving as a point of contact for candidates during the pre-employment screening phase of the hiring process. Importantly, this role does not make employment eligibility or adjudication decisions related to background checks, drug tests, or other pre-employment screenings. Instead, the coordinator facilitates the screening process and escalates results requiring review to the appropriate team members. The ideal candidates has exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both candidates and internal team members, while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is an hourly, non-exempt role.
