The USIC name and brand are highly recognized and respected for our strong commitment to quality and safety. We are America’s leader in underground utility damage prevention and advanced infrastructure services, performing more than 84 million locates each year for the more than 1,400 telecommunications, electric, gas, water, and sewer utilities and municipalities we serve nationwide. The Compliance Coordinator plays a critical role in administering and coordinating the pre-employment background check and drug testing processes, ensuring a timely, compliant, and positive candidate experience. Key responsibilities include monitoring background checks and drug tests for completion, coordinating directly with candidates to collect additional information when needed, maintaining accurate records, and serving as a point of contact for candidates during the pre-employment screening phase of the hiring process. Importantly, this role does not make employment eligibility or adjudication decisions related to background checks, drug tests, or other pre-employment screenings. Instead, the coordinator facilitates the screening process and escalates results requiring review to the appropriate team members. The ideal candidate has exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both candidates and internal team members, while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is an hourly, non-exempt role.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. Veterans are encouraged to apply.
