Job summary

Livevacancies is seeking a proactive Compliance Co-ordinator to champion statutory and fire safety compliance across diverse property portfolios. You will own compliance performance, issue instructions, track actions, and drive timely resolutions, collaborating with Building Safety and Property Teams to uphold Golden Thread standards.

The role requires hands-on experience in statutory residential compliance, fire safety regs, and data accuracy, with strong communication to meet KPIs and audits.

Qualifications

• Solid grasp of statutory compliance in residential property management.
• Hands-on experience with compliance platforms, assets and event tracking.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and risk assessment procedures.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
• Confident communicator and collaborator across teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to meet pre agreed KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Take full portfolio ownership of compliance performance across all allocated sites.
• Monitor assets and recurring statutory events, escalating non-compliance.
• Ensure asset and safety data is accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
• Generate clear compliance reports and attend KPI reviews with Compliance teams.
• Issue instructions for HSFRA, FRAEW, Fire Door Surveys, and other testing.
• Ensure all evidence, certificates, and remedial actions feed into the Golden Thread.
• Manage and tender compliance-related contracts tied to planned maintenance.
• Source quotes and raise works orders for remedial actions with Property Managers.
• Manage the Compliance inbox and action items promptly.
• Lead communal & demised fire door inspections and remedial work tracking.
• Coordinate flat entrance fire door inspections and ensure full documentation.
• Ensure all fire safety documentation forms part of the building’s Golden Thread.
• Track and coordinate all actions from statutory inspections and HSFRA/FRAEW reports.
• Maintain safety case information and ensure completeness within the Golden Thread.
• Ensure risks are remediated swiftly with contractors and Property Teams effectively.
• Ensure we are working in line with the Building Safety Act
• Liaising with Property Managers regarding large costs, Section 20 and Remediation, as well as the Remediation Team.
• Building relationships with the Build Safety Lead to maintain support with queries.

About this Role:

Are you passionate about precision, safety, and making a real impact in property management? We're on the lookout for a proactive and detail-driven Compliance Co-ordinator to champion statutory and fire safety & compliance across our diverse property portfolios. In this pivotal role, you'll be the engine behind our compliance operations – taking ownership of a portfolio and it's compliance, issuing instructions, tracking performance, and driving timely resolutions to safety actions. You'll collaborate closely with other Building Safety Team members and Property Teams to uphold the highest standards of building safety and regulatory excellence ensuring that we always maintain the Golden Thread and aim for 100% compliance on portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance Oversight & Reporting

• Take full portfolio ownership of compliance performance across all allocated sites.
