Job Profile: Safeguard Coordinator

Summary:

The Safeguard Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating the review process of third-party vendors to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. This role involves collaborating with various vendors to assess vendor compliance and document results.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of third-party vendors to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
2. Collaborate with vendors to complete the review process.
3. Discover contact information for vendors where contact details may be inaccurate.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to identify potential risks associated with third-party vendors and implement mitigation strategies.
5. Facilitate communication between vendors and internal stakeholders to address issues promptly.
6. Assist in developing and implementing vendor review policies and procedures.
7. Prepare and present reports on vendor performance and compliance to senior management.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, information technology, information security assurance, or related fields preferred; H.S. Diploma or GED with significant practical experience will also be considered.

Basic Requirements:

• Proven experience in vendor management, procurement, or similar roles.
• Strong analytical skills to assess complex data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work within deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with vendor management software is a plus.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards is preferred.

Preferred Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Cyber Security Analyst or related field.
• Experience in building technical risk assessment or security assurance programs.
