Job summary

Speridian Technologies in the United States seeks a HIPAA Compliance Expert and seasoned Project Management Consultant for a remote role with West Coast business hours. You will design HIPAA-compliant programs, lead large-scale projects using Waterfall and Agile, and coordinate with healthcare stakeholders to ensure alignment and success.

You will develop and review healthcare policies, deliver training on HIPAA-covered information, and drive compliance excellence across projects and programs

Qualifications

• HIPAA compliance review or audit experience in the last five years.
• Experience training or developing workplace policies/procedures on HIPAA information.
• Experience managing or communicating with healthcare stakeholders (entities using protected health information).
• Experience analyzing and documenting HIPAA laws, rules, or policies.

Speridian is seeking a HIPAA Compliance Expert and a seasoned Project Management Consultant with extensive experience in the healthcare sector. Expertise in HIPAA compliance and healthcare IT, with a proven track record of leading successful projects and contributing to industry advancements. This role is remote but requires West Coast business hours.

Role and Responsibilities:

• HIPAA Compliance: develop and administer HIPAA-compliant programs, staying abreast of regulatory changes, and implementing best practices.
• Project Management: Proficient in managing large-scale, complex projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Stakeholder Management: Skilled in liaising with healthcare stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Policy Development: Experience in crafting and reviewing healthcare policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
• Training & Development: Proficient in developing and delivering training on HIPAA-covered information and compliance.

Must have for contact compliance purposes:

• Minimum of 24 months of work experience, in the last five years, working on a job or an engagement that included performing a compliance review or audit of HIPAA laws, rules, or policies. or Minimum of 24 months of work experience, in the last five years, working on a job or an engagement that included providing training or developing workplace policies/procedures on the dissemination or protection of HIPAA-covered information.
• Minimum of 24 months of experience, in the last five years, working on a job or an engagement that included managing or communicating with healthcare stakeholders. Stakeholders are defined as parties that use or disseminate protected health information.
• Minimum of 24 months of experience, in the last five years, working on a job or an engagement that included analyzing and documenting the laws, rules, or policies regarding protected health information.

• Legislative experience is a plus
