Job summary

Vatica Health is seeking a Program Director for Compliance & Audit to lead company-wide compliance monitoring and auditing efforts. The role oversees audits of internal units and vendors, ensures adherence to applicable laws and internal policies, and guides special cross-functional projects.

Key responsibilities include developing policies, proactive risk monitoring, third-party assurance, and coordinating SOC 2 and HITRUST activities. Strong communication and project management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health administration, communications, business administration or related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of auditing standards and techniques.
• Understanding of CMS compliance requirements helpful.
• Working knowledge of SOC 2 and HITRUST requirements to support IT and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders, written and verbal.
• Ability to gather/analyze data, write reports, and organize work efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Compliance Team goals, objectives, plans, policies and procedures.
• Develop policies aligned with contractual obligations.
• Perform proactive monitoring/auditing of high-risk areas and prepare reports.
• Assist with annual conflict of interest assessment and monitoring system.
• Oversee Third-Party Assurance process and vendor risk discussions.
• Support SOC 2 and HITRUST audit activities; coordinate external audits.
• Manage corporate insurance portfolio.
• Manage corporate registrations.
• Serve as a resource to foster compliance and open communications.
• Perform other duties including management of special projects.

Job description

TheCompliance & Audit Program Director is responsible for managing activities related to corporate compliance and coordinating Company-wide compliance monitoring and auditing activities, including audits of the Company’s internal business units and vendors. The Compliance & Audit Program Director will help ensure compliance with all applicable rules and laws, as well as internal policies/procedures, and assist with performing and managing special projects across multiple functional areas as requested.

Responsibilities

• Assistwith developing andimplementingthe Compliance Team’s goals,objectives, plans,policiesand procedures.
• Assistwith developing and implementing policies and procedures consistent withthe Company’scontractual obligations.
• Perform proactive monitoring/auditing of potentially high-risk areas, preparereports,and help implement andmonitorany corrective actions.
• Assistwith conducting annual conflict of interest assessment and help manage monitoring system.
• Manage and oversee Company’s Third-Party Assurance process, includingcoordinatingthe vendor risk assessment process andfacilitatingrisk and compliance discussions in the remediation of issues.
• Support the IT organization with SOC 2 and HITRUST audit activities, as needed, and coordinate external audits, assessments, and surveys by Company clients.
• Managethe Company’scorporate insurance portfolio.
• ManageCompany’scorporate registrations.
• Serve as a resourceforCompany personnel to continue to foster compliance and open communications.
• Perform other duties as may berequiredor assigned, includingassistancewithmanagingand overseeing special projects as they arise.

• Bachelor's degree in health administration, communications, businessadministrationor a related field
• Demonstrated current working knowledge ofapplicableauditing standards and techniques.
