Job summary

Zions Bancorporation (Midvale, UT) is seeking an entry-level Compliance Officer to support the Compliance Assurance Program within Compliance Risk Management. The role focuses on planning, testing, data analysis, and reporting to strengthen internal controls and regulatory compliance.

You will assist in executing tests, gather documentation, and help identify areas for continuous improvement in our銀行 compliance program. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business, finance, accounting or related field or equivalent banking/regulatory experience.
• 2+ years in banking/regulatory compliance or related auditing preferred.
• Basic knowledge of banking regulatory compliance, testing, auditing, and regulatory issues.
• Working knowledge of federal and state compliance laws and regulations.
• Proficient communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently with tight deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and scoping small, noncomplex compliance reviews according to guidelines.
• Conduct fieldwork tests, gather documentation, and perform walkthroughs.
• Analyze transactional data to identify compliance risks and improvement areas.
• Perform root cause analysis for deficiencies or gaps.
• Draft audit reports with findings and corrective actions.
• Monitor remediation efforts to ensure timely resolution.
• Communicate objectives, progress and results with stakeholders.
• Maintain organized audit workpapers and documentation.
• Stay informed of relevant compliance regulations and policies.
• Participate in meetings, training, and professional development.
