Maven is looking for an exceptional Associate, Compliance to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of Maven’s compliance program to ensure adherence to applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and industry standards. This role involves assisting in the identification of regulatory requirements, maintenance of policies and procedures, submitting applications for and maintaining required licenses, and assisting with audits and investigations. We are looking for someone that is passionate about healthcare with strong communication, project management and interpersonal skills. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Compliance.

As a Associate, Compliance at Maven you will:

• Regulatory Compliance Support: Project manage and execute on various regulatory compliance objectives related to our fertility benefits product, including policy management, process development, and internal audits
• License Acquisition & Maintenance: Complete applications for and maintain a variety of state regulatory licenses including TPA, PBM, and Utilization Management by working closely with cross functional partners and the Sr. Director, Compliance
• Research: Document and research state-specific processes and regulations
• Vendor Support: Manage relationships with vendors the Compliance team uses for regulatory compliance

We’re looking for you to bring:

• 1-3 years of experience, preferably in healthcare or a project management role
• This role is exclusively open to candidates in the New York Metropolitan area, Boston, MA, or Washington, D.C.
• Stellar organization skills with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple operational processes and projects
• Comfort with core business tools and basic analysis
• Team player that thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

For candidates in NYC or CO, the salary range for this role is $90,000 - $105,000 per year. You may also be entitled to receive stock options, and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.

Our teams primarily operate from the New York Metropolitan area, NY, San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C. This role is exclusively open to candidates in the New York Metropolitan area, Boston, MA, or Washington, D.C. For those in our New York City office, we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to work onsite three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). For those based in San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C., we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to attend quarterly Work Together Days within these cities. This policy aims to balance remote work flexibility with the benefits of face-to-face interaction
