Job description

Compliance Associate – Private Equity (New York, NY)

An established, global private equity investment manager with more than $10 billion in AUM is looking to add a Compliance Associate to its New York office.

This opportunity could be particularly attractive to someone who has spent the first few years of their career in a larger compliance department and is looking for greater exposure, more responsibility and the opportunity to expand beyond a narrowly defined role. The position offers the opportunity to become a key member of the firm's US compliance function, working closely with colleagues in London and gaining exposure to a broad range of regulatory and operational matters. Rather than focusing on just one area of compliance, the successful candidate will be involved in various aspects of the compliance program and have the opportunity to take ownership of projects as they continue to develop.

The firm is looking for someone with a foundation in investment management compliance who is intelligent, motivated, resourceful and genuinely interested in continuing to build their career in the industry. Someone who enjoys learning, isn't afraid to ask questions, and is willing to take initiative rather than simply waiting for work to be assigned.

This is a particularly good opportunity for someone who feels they have outgrown their current position or is looking for a role where they can make a more meaningful contribution to the broader compliance function.

Work arrangement: Hybrid – three days per week in the NYC office.

Compensation: 140-180k base + bonus (up to 240k all in), depending on experience
