We are looking for a hands-on Compliance and Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and help ensure the business runs safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable requirements.

Safety & Compliance

• Own the company's day-to-day compliance program
• Work with our compliance consultant to maintain permits, records, inspections, training, and compliance documentation
• Ensure required environmental, safety, hazardous waste, and other compliance requirements are completed on time
• Follow up on compliance issues and implement corrective actions

Operations

• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the shop is running efficiently
• Monitor operating costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
• Help develop and implement company policies and procedures
• Provide ownership with regular updates on operations, employees, financial performance, and compliance
• Take ownership of special projects and other responsibilities as the business grows

Qualifications

• Management experience in manufacturing or an industrial environment
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Experience with OSHA, environmental, hazardous waste, or manufacturing compliance

Compensation

• This position begins with a 3-month introductory period at $6,000 per month. Following the introductory period, compensation will be reviewed based on performance, responsibilities, and overall fit, with the potential to increase to up to $90,000 annually for the right candidate.
