The Opportunity

We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Charlotte, NC, or Tampa, FL. Relocation assistance is not available.

As a member of the second line of defense, oversees the execution of independent testing under the Enterprise Testing program methodology to ensure departmental processes and activities align with applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. The incumbent will compile and retain well-documented work papers to create accurate and concise reports including issues, root cause, and corrective actions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop testing and analysis procedures for compliance with complex policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and guide team members on complex issues.
  • Lead and manage testing groups to ensure adherence to operational risks and compliance requirements.
  • Review and implement work papers supporting test findings.
  • Contribute to resource allocation for testing activities.
  • Perform qualitative data analysis.
  • Develop and present executive briefs to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with business and control partners to facilitate collaboration.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of related experience OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Expert knowledge of industry regulations and compliance.
  • Experience interpreting federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Advanced knowledge of testing techniques and data analysis.
  • Effective communication skills across management levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred Skills
  • Active certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CEH, Cisco CCNA/CCNP.
  • 8+ years in IT/Information Security Audit, Testing, or Engineering.
  • Advanced Degree in related fields preferred.
  • Experience with Cyber Resiliency, Cloud Computing, PCI, or Privacy.
  • US military experience or military spouse/domestic partner status (optional).
Compensation

Range: $127,310 - $243,340. USAA does not sponsor visas for this role. Salary is based on experience and location.
