Job summary

Liberty Bankers Insurance Group, a Dallas-based insurer, seeks a Compliance Analyst II to support the SVP of Compliance. You'll manage day-to-day regulatory operations, coordinate SERFF filings, and handle complaints, investigations, and contract administration, while coaching junior staff and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires deep insurance compliance knowledge, proficiency with SERFF/NAIC/I-File, and strong research skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal or compliance experience in the insurance industry
• Advanced knowledge and interest in the life insurance industry
• Demonstratable experience and knowledge of SERFF, NAIC, and I-File systems
• Ability to monitor, understand, and apply laws using Westlaw and internet research
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and PDF/communication systems
• Working knowledge of insurance product administration systems
• Insurance-related industry designations

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day collaboration with and coaching of junior staff on routine matters
• Lead SERFF filings from start to finish including researching regulations and educating stakeholders
• Respond to objections, revise forms, gather documents, and track projects
• Handle complaints (consumer, regulatory, other) and draft complex responses
• Oversee investigations (regulatory and internal)
• Set up monitoring systems to identify regulatory changes impacting the company
• Review and approve advertising pieces and maintain advertising files
• Manage regulatory exams and product administration (new product rollout)
• Inforce and claim contract administration and related forms revision
