Responsibilities & Objectives

Reporting to the Vice President, IT, the Compliance Analyst is a subject matter expert (SME) for IT compliance and security policy within the organization. The role involves managing industry-standard audits (SOC2 Type II and ISO), risk assessments, and maintaining IT policies and processes. IT functions across the organization, collaborating with customer-facing business units on various projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and execute industry standards audits (SOC2, ISO)
  • Work within GRC applications (e.g., RiskOptics, ZenGRC)
  • Respond to compliance and security-related RFPs, questionnaires, and audits
  • Provide operational support to business teams at the project level
  • Create, update, and manage IT and Security policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the IT Manager to ensure policy compliance
  • Manage Security Training and ensure employee goal achievement based on OKRs
  • Test and manage Business Continuity Plans
  • Develop and oversee Risk Assessments (Vendors, IT, etc.)
  • Implement operational processes for customer support, system performance, and security, including Change Controls to meet SLAs
  • Apply and enforce the Security Framework organization-wide
  • Develop and monitor IT Metrics
  • Oversee Security functions such as Awareness training and policy adherence

What You’ll Need

  • Hands-on experience managing a SOC2 Type II Audit from start to finish
  • Proficiency in responding to compliance and security RFPs, questionnaires, audits
  • Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO, CIS)
  • Strong analytical, detail-oriented skills
  • Motivated, resourceful, and capable of mentoring others
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Excellent communication skills (English, written and verbal)
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Effective collaboration with diverse, dispersed teams
  • Minimum 3+ years of direct SOC2 audit experience

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, certifications, or extensive technical training.
