Job summary

Atom Matrix Innovation LLC seeks a detail-driven Compliance Operations professional to own messaging compliance, registrations, consent, and opt-out rules across markets. Based in Phoenix, you will collaborate with engineering to embed controls and advise customers on regulatory requirements.

You will track regulatory changes, maintain internal guidelines, and support cross-functional teams to keep campaigns compliant and risk-managed in a fast-changing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in compliance, trust & safety, regulatory operations, or messaging/telecom compliance.
• Detail-obsessed and organized—keep track of many moving requirements.
• Comfortable reading regulations and carrier policies and turning them into clear rules.
• Clear communicator who can explain a 'no' and offer a workable path.
• Working knowledge of messaging regulations (consent and opt-out) is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage sender ID, short code, and campaign registrations across markets, and shepherd customer submissions through approval.
• Maintain internal guidance on messaging rules, consent, quiet hours, and content restrictions as they change by country.
• Advise sales, solutions, and customers on what's permissible in a given market and use case.
• Review flagged traffic and campaigns for compliance risk, and work with support on remediation.
• Partner with engineering and product so opt-out handling, suppression, and enforcement are built in.
• Track regulatory changes and turn them into concrete platform and process updates.

The rules for reaching people by text, call, and email differ by country, carrier, and use case — and they change. Get them right and traffic flows; get them wrong and a customer's messages get blocked or fined. We're looking for someone who finds that puzzle satisfying rather than tedious.

You'll own messaging compliance operations — sender and campaign registration, consent and opt-out rules, and the market-by-market requirements that govern what customers can send and how.

This is detailed, high-trust work at the intersection of regulation and product. You'll process registrations, keep our internal rules current as regulations shift, advise customers and internal teams on what's allowed where, and work with engineering so the platform enforces the right controls. Based in Phoenix, supporting customers across regions.
