Randstad USA is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to manage our transportation compliance program in the United States. You will oversee motor carrier qualification, perform risk assessments, and collaborate with executive leadership to refine policies and promote accountability across the organization.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with a salary typical for hourly compliance roles and a strong benefits package.

Qualificações

• Strong knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, OSHA rules and state regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and enforce the transportation compliance program across the organization.
• Maintain carrier qualification and approval procedures including due diligence for motor carrier selection.
• Review carrier safety ratings, insurance, operating authority, inspection history, and risk indicators.
• Conduct periodic audits of carrier files, contracts, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop policies governing freight broker operations and vendor management.
• Monitor regulatory developments in logistics and recommend policy updates.
• Maintain documentation supporting compliance decisions and carrier oversight.
• Provide compliance training for employees involved in carrier selection and operations.
• Prepare compliance reports and present findings to executive leadership.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Compliance Analyst to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will administer and enforce our company's transportation compliance program, ensuring full adherence to FMCSA, DOT, OSHA, and relevant state regulations.

As our Compliance Analyst, you will oversee motor carrier qualification, perform risk assessments, collaborate with executive leadership to refine operational policies, and foster a culture of accountability across the organization.

salary: $35 - $50 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Administer and enforce the company's transportation compliance program that includes compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Department of Transportation (DOT), OSHA, and applicable state transportation regulations.
• Maintain carrier qualification and approval procedures, including documented due diligence for motor carrier selection.
• Review carrier safety ratings, insurance coverage, operating authority, inspection history, and other risk indicators before onboarding and throughout the business relationship.
• Conduct periodic audits of carrier files, contracts, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with the President/CFO and VP/Controller to develop policies governing freight broker operations, carrier selection, subcontracting, and vendor management.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting the logistics and transportation industry and recommend policy updates.
• Maintain documentation supporting compliance decisions and carrier oversight.
• Support compliance training for employees involved in carrier selection, transportation operations, and vendor management.
• Prepare compliance reports and present findings and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Promote a culture of accountability and regulatory compliance throughout the organization.
