Randstad USA is seeking a detail-oriented Complex Test Operator in Huntsville, AL. You will set up and operate advanced testing equipment, perform various tests, read drawings, document results, and troubleshoot failures.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical or electrical aptitude with attention to detail and a commitment to safety. Education: High School. Salary ranges from $16 to $20 per hour for a first shift (4 AM–2:30 AM).

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required.
• Candidates should be experienced in operating automated test equipment or similar manufacturing test environments.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate complex testing equipment and automated test systems.
• Perform functional, electrical, mechanical, and environmental tests per procedures.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, test procedures, and docs.
• Monitor test equipment and product performance; identify abnormal conditions.
• Record test results accurately and maintain documentation.
• Troubleshoot equipment and product failures; assist with root-cause analysis.
• Use precision measuring instruments (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.).
• Conduct equipment calibration checks and report problems.
• Follow safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Communicate failures and issues to engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.
• May train less-experienced operators and help improve test procedures.
