Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Complex Manager in Training to develop into upper management across live operations and plant leadership. You will guide teams, ensure safety, product quality, and efficient production across multiple plants in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree with 5–8 years of operational leadership experience; MBA is a plus. The program requires willingness to relocate and offers a comprehensive benefits package and competitive base

Qualifications

• Experience with leading teams to successfully accomplish objectives.
• Adequate knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operational management.
• Working knowledge of budgets, budgeting, forecasting and metrics, and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Live Operations Management, Plant Management or Operations Management in food manufacturing; poultry a plus.
• Ensure safety directives are followed and maintained as a condition of employment.
• Develop and grow the best team and invest in their development.
• Ensure product quality is adhered to at all times.
• Direct production and/or processing at a complex with multiple plants to maintain profitable operations.
• Set production goals and motivate the team to achieve them.
• Oversee facilities and live operations via department managers.
• Develop plans for efficient use of materials and machinery.
• Prepare budgets and advise top management; ensure budget execution.
• Evaluate improvements to productivity, labor efficiency, and plant costs; invest in operational excellence.
• Upon graduation, relocate to a location based on business needs and skill set.
