Job summary
Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Community Midwife (Complex Needs) to deliver personalised care for women and pregnant people with complex needs. You will work across community settings, collaborating with maternity, primary care, mental health and social care teams to provide evidence-based care, advocacy and safeguarding where needed.

- Registered midwife with current practice registration.
- Experience with complex social or clinical pregnancy needs is desirable.
- Strong communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality antenatal and postnatal care in community settings.
- Build trusting relationships with women with complex health or safeguarding needs.
- Coordinate care with maternity, primary care, mental health and social care colleagues.
- Advocate for informed choice and shared decision-making.
- Identify safeguarding concerns and address health inequalities.
- Support engagement with maternity services and improve outcomes.
