Job Description

Join the legal frontline and champion your expertise in the Law and Regulation area for Allstate! We are seeking a candidate passionate about combatting insurance industry fraud. You will leverage your litigation and investigative skills to defend against fraudulent claims and pursue Affirmative Actions, including RICO-based litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Claims/SIU to defend against fraudulent claims in No-Fault and other matters.
• Research, prepare, file, and litigate fraud cases, including RICO actions.
• Develop litigation strategies and negotiate complex legal matters.
• Review files, strategize resolutions, and draft legal documents such as motions and briefs.
• Conduct depositions, examinations under oath, and participate in arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
• Handle court appearances and draft motions in State and Federal courts.
• Negotiate settlements and manage related legal documentation.

Education

• Juris Doctor and active membership in the NY State Bar.
• Federal Court admission required if selected.

Experience

• Preferred experience in SIU/No-Fault, Federal Court, and managing complex litigation.
• Strong research, writing, and legal skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Discretion, confidentiality, ethics, and integrity are essential.
• Insurance industry knowledge and familiarity with legal discovery processes are preferred.

Location and Travel

• This is a remote role within New York, requiring travel to courts and other locations.
• Coverage includes all NYC boroughs and surrounding areas.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not include supervisory duties.
