Nelson Mullins' Atlanta office is seeking a litigation associate to join its growing team. The ideal candidate has two to three years of meaningful experience in commercial and complex litigation and is admitted to the Georgia Bar.
You will draft and argue discovery and other motions, take and defend depositions, and contribute to active case management. Prior federal clerkship is a plus, and you will work with senior attorneys on significant business and regulatory matters across the Southeast.

Firm attorneys in Atlanta have worked on many business and legal developments in the Southeast and beyond, including national class action court cases, formation of public companies, financial institution capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and work on important pro bono cases.
The Firm moved to its current location at 201 17th Street NW in 2007 as the first tenant in a new building located at Atlantic Station, a brownfield reclamation and mixed-used development that houses everyday amenities including alternative transportation options within walking distance. The office meets the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.
You have two to three years of meaningful experience in commercial and complex litigation matters. Prior service as a federal court clerk is a plus. You’re prepared to draft and argue discovery and other motions, take and defend depositions, and bring an entrepreneurial spirit to the team. You possess exceptional organizational, oral and written advocacy skills, strong academic credentials, and a solid understanding of procedural and substantive law. You are adept in case management, ready to take the lead, and are admitted to and in good standing with the Georgia Bar.
