Complex Event Services Manager - Hiltons of San Francisco Union Square (Finance)

Plan a memorable event amid San Francisco's eclectic mix of architecture, culture, and diversity at Hilton San Francisco Union Square. Located just off Union Square and near Moscone Convention Center, guests have easy access to the city's best attractions.

We are looking to add to our Events Team!

As Event Service Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating event execution between the hotel and clients during meetings or events.

What will I be doing?

You will act as the liaison between the customer and the hotel, directing each department to fulfill their roles during on-site events. This role is key to ensuring customer satisfaction, encouraging repeat business, and maximizing revenue through upselling products and services. You will serve as the primary contact for event planning and execution, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.

  • Provide direction and supervision to affected departments and team members during event execution.
  • Proactively serve on-site group and catering clients.
  • Organize, plan, and prioritize duties by developing clear plans and goals.
  • Communicate promptly with internal and external clients via telephone, email, or in person.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of hotel systems, products, booking procedures, and processes.
  • Resolve conflicts, negotiate, and handle complaints effectively.
  • Make informed decisions and solve problems by analyzing issues and determining the best solutions.
  • Ensure high-quality service by understanding guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching.
  • Participate in customer site inspections and assist with sales processes as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required based on business needs.
  • Maintain regular attendance and flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
