Complex Event Services Manager - Hiltons of San Francisco Union Square

Plan memorable events amid San Francisco’s eclectic architecture, culture, and diversity at Hilton San Francisco Union Square, located just off Union Square and near Moscone Convention Center, providing easy access to the city's attractions.

We are seeking to add a dedicated Event Service Manager to our Events Team. The role involves overseeing event execution between the hotel and clients during meetings or events, acting as a liaison across hotel departments to ensure successful event delivery, which contributes to future bookings and revenue growth through upselling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to departments and team members during event execution.
  • Actively serve on-site group and catering clients, ensuring proactive service.
  • Organize, plan, and prioritize duties with clear goals and plans.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams via various channels.
  • Maintain knowledge of systems, products, booking processes, and hotel services.
  • Handle conflicts, negotiate, and resolve complaints efficiently.
  • Make informed decisions and solve problems promptly.
  • Ensure high-quality service through effective communication, guidance, and coaching.
  • Participate in site inspections and support sales activities as needed.
  • Perform other duties based on business needs.
  • Maintain regular attendance and flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
