Interlink Talent Solutions is recruiting for a leading Am Law 100 firm in Chicago seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 3–6 years of experience. The role offers exposure to complex commercial disputes, mass torts, and high-stakes business litigation with substantial hands-on responsibilities.

You will join a collaborative team providing direct client interaction and opportunities to manage matters across all litigation stages, including depositions, motions, and trial preparation.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
• Experience handling substantive aspects of litigation including discovery, depositions, motion practice and trial preparation.
• Active Illinois or Delaware Bar admission or commitment to admission soon.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in complex commercial litigation, mass torts, product liability and other business disputes.
• Manage all phases of litigation from initial case assessment through discovery, trial prep and resolution.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs and other substantive legal documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions, manage discovery and coordinate document production.
• Prepare and argue motions before state and federal courts.
• Participate in mediations, settlements and ADR proceedings.
• Assist with trial and arbitration preparation including witness prep and case strategy.
• Develop litigation strategies and provide commercially focused advice to clients.
• Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on high-value disputes.
• Maintain direct client communication and manage multiple matters.

A leading Am Law 100 firm is seeking a talented Commercial Litigation Associate with 3–6 years of experience to join its established Litigation Practice in Chicago.

This opportunity offers exposure to a broad range of sophisticated litigation matters, including complex commercial disputes, mass torts, product liability and high-stakes business litigation.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of experienced litigators, representing a diverse client base across multiple industries. The position offers substantial hands-on litigation experience, direct client interaction and the opportunity to take meaningful responsibility across all stages of the litigation process.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in complex commercial litigation, mass torts, product liability and other business disputes.
• Manage all phases of litigation, from initial case assessment and factual investigations through discovery, trial preparation and resolution.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs and other substantive legal documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions, manage discovery and coordinate document production.
• Prepare and argue motions before state and federal courts.
• Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
• Assist with trial and arbitration preparation, including witness preparation, case strategy and courtroom proceedings.
• Develop litigation strategies and provide practical, commercially focused advice to clients.
• Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on sophisticated, high-value disputes.
• Maintain direct client communication and manage multiple matters simultaneously.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, ideally gained within a reputable law firm.
• Experience handling substantive aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice and trial preparation.
• Experience in mass torts and product liability litigation is advantageous.
• Experience litigating matters in both state and federal courts is preferred.
• Exposure to administrative proceedings, arbitration or mediation is beneficial.
• Second-chair trial or arbitration experience is desirable but not essential.
• Active Illinois or Delaware Bar admission, or a commitment to obtaining admission as soon as possible.
• Excellent academic credentials, legal research and written advocacy skills.
• Strong analytical ability, sound professional judgment and exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and multiple complex matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Competitive salary of $220,000 – $265,000, depending on experience.
