Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Illinois bar admission required.
• 4+ years in complex commercial or civil litigation at a law firm.
• Hands-on discovery, brief writing, and pretrial preparation experience.
• Strong legal research and written advocacy abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple complex matters and collaborate with teams.
• Experience in securities, class actions, or white-collar matters preferred.
• Experience at a reputable commercial law firm preferred.
• Exposure to cybersecurity or data privacy litigation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent sophisticated clients in complex commercial disputes.
• Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and other litigation documents.
• Manage discovery, including document reviews and deposits.
• Support case strategy, research, and pretrial work.
• Work on securities, breach of contract, and fiduciary duty disputes.
• Assist with class actions, MDL, and regulatory investigations.
• Collaborate with litigation teams on case development and risk.
• Explore emerging litigation areas like cybersecurity and data privacy.
• Take ownership of meaningful case responsibilities.

• Draft compelling motions, briefs, pleadings, and other litigation documents.
• Manage discovery, including document review, written discovery, and deposition preparation.
• Support case strategy, legal research, and pretrial preparation for complex litigation matters.
• Work on disputes involving securities, breach of contract, fraud, fiduciary duties, and other significant commercial claims.
• Assist with class actions, multidistrict litigation, white-collar matters, and regulatory investigations.
• Collaborate with experienced litigation teams on case development, risk assessment, and dispute resolution.
• Gain exposure to emerging litigation areas, including cybersecurity, data privacy, and technology-related disputes.
• Take ownership of meaningful case responsibilities while continuing to develop your advocacy and litigation skills.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to practice law in Illinois.
