Job summary

Our Lady of Lourdes Women's & Children's in Lafayette, LA seeks a BE/BC Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon (MIGS) to join a growing Women’s Health service line. The physician will focus on evaluation, surgical management, and follow-up for complex benign gynecologic conditions with emphasis on minimally invasive techniques.

Collaboration with OB/GYNs, midwives, and APPs is essential. The role offers opportunities to perform robotic-assisted procedures and participate in program growth, with

Qualifications

• BE/BC Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon required.
• Experience evaluating and managing benign gynecologic conditions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with OB/GYNs, midwives and APPs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with benign gynecologic conditions requiring surgery.
• Perform minimally invasive gynecologic procedures including laparoscopic, robotic, vaginal, hysteroscopic, and abdominal hysterectomies.
• Provide preoperative consultation, informed consent, and postoperative care.
• Partner with outpatient Women’s Health providers to ensure seamless referrals.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and service line growth.
• Maintain timely documentation in the EMR.
