Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time, fellowship trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and contribute to the Complex Benign Gynecology Program. The practice focuses on advanced benign gynecologic disease, minimally invasive surgery, multidisciplinary care, education, and academic development.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and New York Medical License eligibility.
• Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) completed.
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized evaluation and longitudinal management of patients with complex benign gynecologic conditions.
• Perform advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (laparoscopic and robotic).
• Expand multidisciplinary care pathways for patients with complex pelvic disease.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care within the complex benign gynecology practice and subspecialty coverage.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents, including operative education.
• Engage in quality improvement, outcomes measurement, research, and scholarly activity.
• Contribute to the development of Albany Medical Center's Complex Benign Gynecology Program.
