Job summary

Comlux America is seeking a Completions Coordinator in Indianapolis to support the aircraft completion team. You will coordinate materials, tooling, and documentation, and serve as the central liaison among Production, Engineering, Materials, and Quality to keep schedules on track.

Responsibilities include tracking critical parts, supporting planning and daily admin tasks, and maintaining project records and dashboards to ensure timely execution and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years in manufacturing, aviation, logistics, or administrative support roles.
  • Experience supporting production, maintenance, completions, or aerospace operations preferred.
  • Ability to read/write/speak English; valid driver's license preferred.

Role Description

The Completions Coordinator serves as the dedicated logistical and administrative support resource for the assigned aircraft completion team, reporting directly to the respective Completions Manager. This role is responsible for coordinating the timely flow of materials, parts, tooling, documentation, and information necessary to support aircraft completion activities and maintain schedule adherence. Acting as the central point of coordination between Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Operations Support, and the Completions team, the Completions Coordinator proactively identifies and resolves logistical constraints that may impact aircraft schedules. This position allows Completions Managers to remain focused on execution, quality, customer satisfaction, and delivery objectives by assuming responsibility for daily coordination activities, administrative support, and project tracking functions.

Essential Job Functions
  • Supports aircraft milestone achievement, minimizing production disruptions, and ensuring effective communication across all departments involved in the aircraft completion process.
  • Coordinate the sourcing, movement, delivery, and staging of materials, parts, tooling, and documentation required to support aircraft completion activities.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Completions team, Production, Engineering, Materials, Supply Chain, Operations Support, and Quality departments regarding aircraft-specific coordination requirements.
  • Monitor critical material shortages, backorders, engineering releases, and open action items, escalating issues that may impact aircraft schedules.
  • Track and communicate the status of critical parts, materials, engineering changes, and customer-driven modifications.
  • Attend production, planning, and aircraft status meetings and provide updates regarding outstanding material, logistical, and support requirements.
  • Maintain aircraft action item logs and ensure assigned tasks are tracked through completion.
  • Support aircraft milestone planning and execution by coordinating required resources and ensuring readiness for upcoming work packages.
  • Assist Completions Managers with daily administrative activities including scheduling support, report preparation, meeting coordination, and documentation management.
  • Maintain aircraft-specific project tracking reports, Gemba boards, dashboards, and status presentations utilizing Microsoft Office applications and company systems.
  • Assist with workforce time administration activities as directed by management.
  • Ensure all coordination activities are performed in accordance with company procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with Materials and Supply Chain teams to prioritize aircraft-critical shortages and expedite deliveries when necessary.
  • Support aircraft protection initiatives by ensuring materials, equipment, and support activities do not compromise customer assets or aircraft condition.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend actions to improve communication, material flow, and schedule execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of coordination activities, aircraft status updates, and outstanding issues.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications, Education And Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree or additional training in Business, Supply Chain, Aviation, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in manufacturing, aviation, logistics, supply chain, production support, project coordination, or administrative support roles.
  • Experience supporting production, maintenance, completions, or aerospace operations is preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP, MRP, production planning, or inventory management systems is preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.

Work Environment
  • Work is primarily in an office environment but will regularly work in aircraft hangars, workshops, production areas, and supplier facilities.
  • The position requires interaction with employees, management, customers, suppliers, auditors, and regulatory representatives. Travel to supplier and customer locations may be required.
  • The position normally follows a standard work schedule; however, flexibility in working hours, including occasional overtime, weekends, and travel, may be required based on business and operational needs.
