Responsibilities

  • Coach and supervise competitive team athletes during practices, competitions, camps, clinics, and other team events.
  • Provide instruction on Olympic gymnastics events, including vault, bars, beam, floor, and conditioning.
  • Develop and implement practice plans that promote skill progression, safety, confidence, and competitive success.
  • Evaluate athlete performance and provide professional but constructive feedback to athletes and parents when appropriate.
  • Commit to the entirety of the competitive season and fulfill coaching obligations throughout the season.
  • Be available for Apex staff development and scheduled meetings.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe training environment and report injuries, incidents, concerns promptly to management.
  • Work collaboratively with other coaches to ensure consistency across all competitive team levels.
  • Assist with athlete evaluations, team placements, and season planning.

Summary

Coach and supervise competitive team athletes during practices, competitions, camps, clinics, and other team events.
