Job summary

America’s Kids In Motion in Clovis, CA is seeking an experienced Competitive Gymnastics Coach with a strong background in the USA Gymnastics Development Program (DP) and/or the Xcel Program. The ideal candidate has coached competitive team athletes, developed routines, and prepared gymnasts for successful competition seasons.

The role requires coaching tumbling from beginner to advanced levels, teaching proper technique and safety, and fostering a positive, motivating training environment.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching competitive team athletes, developing routines, teaching proper technique, and preparing gymnasts for successful competition seasons.
• Strong background in the USA Gymnastics Development Program (DP) and/or the Xcel Program.
• Experience coaching tumbling from beginner through advanced levels (2-3 years preferred).
• Teach proper technique, body awareness, and safe skill progression.
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and motivating training environment.
• Prioritize athlete safety while building confidence and strong fundamentals.
• Hold a current safety certification (preferred) or be willing to obtain one upon hire.
• Work collaboratively with fellow coaches and communicate effectively with athletes and families.
