Role Overview

The selected candidate will lead compensation benchmarking and total rewards analysis across the US and Canada, primarily focused on actuarial consulting environments including Life, P&C, and Health practices. The role involves market analysis, salary framework development, internal compensation review, and executive-level reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market benchmarking for salary, bonus, and total rewards
• Analyze compensation trends tied to actuarial credentials (ASA, FSA, exams)
• Develop salary ranges and compensation frameworks
• Review internal compensation data and identify equity/compression issues
• Evaluate benefits, incentives, and exam support programs
• Present recommendations and reporting to HR leadership

Required Experience

• 5+ years in Compensation, Total Rewards, HR Analytics, HR Finance, or related fields
• Strong experience with compensation benchmarking and survey data
• Experience in actuarial, insurance, consulting, or professional services environments
• Familiarity with actuarial career progression and credentials (ASA/FSA)
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, modeling, and large dataset analysis
• Strong PowerPoint and executive presentation skills
