Job summary

Jacobs Douwe Egberts is seeking a Compensation Specialist to join the Total Rewards team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will analyze compensation data, support salary reviews and incentives, and help drive global reward initiatives with HR and managers.

The role emphasizes analytical work, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration in an international environment. Master’s degree in a related field and 0–2 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in HR, Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in HR, Compensation & Benefits, Finance or analytics.
• Strong analytical skills with large data sets.
• Advanced Excel and data reporting experience.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support annual compensation processes including salary reviews, bonuses, and long-term incentives.
• Prepare, validate, and analyze compensation data for accuracy and timely execution.
• Maintain compensation-related docs, reports, and communications.
• Assist with job evaluation activities and grading decisions.
• Coordinate mobility and relocation activities with stakeholders.
• Prepare analyses, presentations, and reports for Total Rewards projects.
• Collaborate with HR and global stakeholders to execute reward initiatives.
• Support ongoing Total Rewards and HR projects as required.

Job description

We are looking for a Compensation Specialist to join our Total Rewards team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical individual who is eager to develop expertise in Compensation & Benefits within a global organization.

In this role, you will support key Total Rewards processes and projects, working closely with HR, managers, and global stakeholders to ensure smooth and accurate execution of compensation activities:

• Support the delivery of annual compensation processes, including salary review, bonus, and long-term incentive programs
• Prepare, validate, and analyze compensation data to ensure accuracy and timely execution of reward programs
• Maintain compensation-related documentation, reports, and communication materials for employees and managers
• Support the administration and continuous improvement of compensation processes and tools, including SuccessFactors
• Assist with job evaluation activities and data gathering to support consistent grading decisions
• Coordinate mobility and relocation activities, including communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare analyses, presentations, and reports to support Total Rewards projects and decision-making
• Collaborate with HR, managers, and global stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of reward-related initiatives
• Support ongoing Total Rewards and HR projects as required

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field
• 0–2 years of professional experience in HR, Compensation & Benefits, Finance, Analytics, or a similar area
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large volumes of data and draw insights
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data, reports, and spreadsheetsStrong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn new tools and processes
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic international environment
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with a professional and diplomatic approach
• Achievement-oriented, proactive, and focused on operational excellence
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
