The Compensation Specialist is designed as a career development opportunity for individuals interested in Compensation and Human Resources. The Compensation Specialist will gain hands‑on experience supporting compensation reviews, market pricing, salary administration, and compensation systems while working alongside experienced Compensation Analysts.

Responsibilities

Compensation Administration

  • Support Compensation Analysts with annual compensation review activities and compensation planning processes.
  • Gather market data and prepare materials used to evaluate employee compensation.
  • Assist with audits and data validation within the Company's compensation systems to ensure accuracy and integrity.

Compensation Operations

  • Maintain compensation‑related files, reports, salary structures, and documentation.
  • Create and maintain positions within HR and compensation systems.
  • Support ongoing compensation processes, including increase hold reviews and approved increase uploads.

Customer & Team Support

  • Assist in managing the compensation inbox and responding to routine compensation inquiries.
  • Provide timely, professional support to leaders and Human Resources partners.
  • Escalate complex compensation matters to Compensation Analysts as appropriate.

Learning & Career Development

  • Partner with and learn from Compensation Analysts through participation in compensation projects and reviews.
  • Develop knowledge of compensation administration, market pricing, salary structures, and internal equity concepts.
  • Build the skills and experience necessary for progression into a Compensation Analyst role.
Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field required.
  • Previous internship, HR, compensation, analytics, or related experience preferred.
