Job summary

The Muscogee County School District seeks a Compensation Manager to oversee all district compensation processes within the HRIS, ensuring policy compliance and accurate data. You will develop and implement compensation programs, working with Finance and Payroll on data projections.

You will supervise a Compensation Specialist and Analyst and report to the Senior Director of HR. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years in HR, with payroll experience and professional certifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of HR experience with increasing responsibility; payroll experience a plus.
• SHRM, SPHR, PHR, and/or CEBS certifications strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compensation processes within the HRIS are compliant and accurate.
• Develop, implement, and administer compensation programs, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Finance, Payroll) to provide data and budget projections.
• Supervise Compensation Specialist and Analyst.
