Job summary

Yokogawa seeks a senior compensation leader to manage US-based merit, bonus cycles, offers, and benchmarking. You will partner with Talent Acquisition and HRBPs to shape competitive pay strategies, conduct market analyses, and ensure internal equity across three countries.

You will drive governance, compliance, and pay equity initiatives while collaborating with Finance and Sales to optimize incentive programs and workforce planning.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of compensation experience.
  • Experience supporting compensation programs in the U.S. (Canada/Mexico exposure a plus).
  • Hands-on experience with merit and bonus cycles, offer development, and salary benchmarking.

Responsibilities

  • Manage annual merit and bonus cycles, including planning, modeling, and execution.
  • Lead promotion and job movement processes (in-grade and grade progression).
  • Support market adjustments and retention-related compensation actions.
  • Execute compensation transactions and processes within Workday (or similar HRIS).
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to develop competitive offers.
  • Provide guidance on salary positioning based on internal equity and market benchmarks.
  • Support complex offers and exception requests.
  • Administer sales incentive plans and performance bonus programs.
  • Partner with Finance and Sales teams on payout accuracy, governance, and improvements.
  • Support updates to incentive structures as business needs evolve.
  • Lead benchmarking activities across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
  • Maintain salary structures aligned to market data and internal equity.
  • Provide insights on pay positioning, trends, and competitiveness.
  • Advise HR Business Partners and leaders on compensation decisions.
  • Support promotions, pay actions, and retention strategies.
  • Contribute to workforce planning and organizational changes.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable compensation regulations across all three countries.
  • Maintain strong governance and approval processes.
  • Support pay equity and consistency reviews.

What You’ll Do:

Core Compensation Execution

  • Manage annual merit and bonus cycles, including planning, modeling, and execution

What You Bring:

Experience

  • 7+ years of compensation experience
  • Experience supporting compensation programs in the U.S. (Canada/Mexico exposure a plus)
  • Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Compensation benchmarking

Skills

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Advanced Excel skills; HRIS experience (Workday preferred)
  • Ability to balance speed, accuracy, and sound judgment
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field
  • CCP or related certification preferred
