Job summary

Vertisystem (A MOURI Tech Company) is seeking a Sr. Compensation Manager to lead and optimize compensation programs across North American operations. The role collaborates with HR and senior leaders to ensure competitive, equitable pay structures for hourly and salaried staff.

The ideal candidate has deep compensation expertise within complex manufacturing environments, strong analytics, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders while managing multiple priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 5+ years of compensation experience, preferably in manufacturing/operations.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation strategy, program design, and market analysis.
  • Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employee populations.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence senior leaders.
  • CCP or other HR/compensation certification is a plus.
  • People management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and administer compensation programs for hourly and salaried populations.
  • Lead annual salary planning and incentive compensation cycles.
  • Conduct job evaluations, market benchmarking, and salary structure development.
  • Support compensation strategy for manufacturing and operations, including union and non-union populations.
  • Analyze compensation data and provide market insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Lead cross-functional compensation initiatives and process improvements.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and senior leaders on compensation decisions.
  • Develop compensation-related training, policies, and procedures.
  • Support salary survey participation across multiple countries.

Location: Chicago, IL – Hybrid (2 days from home Monday and Friday)

Job Type: Contract | 12 Months

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a Sr. Compensation Manager to lead and support compensation strategy and programs across North American operations.   • People management experience is preferred.
