Job summary

Baker Construction Enterprises Inc is seeking a Compensation Specialist to analyze, benchmark and administer the organization’s compensation programs. You will collaborate with Core HR, HRIS, Finance and business leaders to support salary benchmarking, planning, job evaluation and incentive programs.

The role requires developing and maintaining accurate job descriptions to ensure proper classification, market alignment, and internal equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration or related field
• 3+ years’ experience in compensation analytics
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred
• Experience managing compensation cycles within SAP SuccessFactors preferred
• Highly proficient with Windows, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of HRIS systems

Responsibilities

• Analyze, implement, benchmark and administer the organization’s compensation programs
• Partner with Core HR, HRIS, Finance, and business leaders to support benchmarking, compensation planning, job evaluation, and incentive programs
• Develop and maintain accurate job documentation, including writing and updating role descriptions for proper job classification, market alignment, and internal equity
• Translate compensation data into clear, actionable insights for HR and leadership audiences
• Document compensation analyses, methodologies, and decisions to support audit readiness and regulatory compliance
