Job summary

Total Quality Logistics is seeking a Compensation Analyst to support our compensation programs through market pricing, data analysis, and partnership with business leaders. You will provide data-driven recommendations to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices in a fast-paced logistics environment.

In this role you will benchmark jobs, analyze compensation data for internal equity, and collaborate with HR and leadership on salary decisions, merit cycles, and incentive programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in compensation analysis or related compensation programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data.
• Strong attention to detail and data integrity.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform market pricing using salary surveys and external data.
• Analyze compensation data to support equity reviews, promotions, and salary adjustments.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to provide data-driven recommendations.
• Support compensation projects such as job leveling, salary structures, and survey participation.
• Assist merit and bonus administration and incentive programs.
• Document and streamline compensation processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Collaborate with HRIS and IT on system requirements and updates.

What you’ll be doing:

• Market Pricing: Benchmark jobs using salary surveys and external market data to evaluate competitive pay practices
• Compensation Analysis: Analyze compensation data to support internal equity reviews, promotions, salary adjustments, and other compensation decisions
• Business Partnership: Independently partner with HR and business leaders to evaluate compensation needs and provide thoughtful, data-driven recommendations
• Compensation Projects: Support compensation initiatives including job leveling, salary structures, job descriptions, survey participation, and process improvements
• Merit & Bonus Administration: Support the administration of annual merit reviews, bonus cycles, and ongoing salary and incentive programs
• Analyze and document compensation processes and procedures to improve efficiency, consistency, and compliance
• Partner with HRIS and IT teams as needed to support compensation-related system requirements and updates

What you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in compensation analysis or related compensation programs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret compensation data and translate findings into practical recommendations
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to work across multiple levels of the organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including experience analyzing large datasets and interpreting data
• HRIS experience, including Workday, is a plus
