Compensation Analyst Through a deep understanding of the organization’s strategy and operational model, the Compensation Analyst is involved in designing, budgeting, implementing, and reporting on compensation policies and practices to ultimately attract, retain and engage colleagues. The Compensation Analyst will collaborate with compensation leadership, organizational leadership and human resources business partners to understand business needs while incorporating research and market data to inform the work product. Primary responsibilities and duties include: Reviewing market data: Analyze data from various salary market sources to ensure the organization’s compensation is competitive in the relevant market. This crucial task involves the intake of large amounts of data, spotting trends, and applying those insights to the organization’s compensation strategy. Collaborating with business stakeholders: Provide specialized insights that enable the Talent Acquisition Team to offer attractive compensation packages to prospective colleagues. The Compensation Analyst may also be consulted on promotional opportunities for both employee readiness and pay. Supporting job hierarchies: Share input in defining the various job levels and roles across the organization and positioning them within a hierarchical structure. Bonus plans: Administer bonus plans that align with the organization’s performance goals and motivate and reward employees based on both individual and company performance. Administering merit: Responsible for supporting various stakeholders in administering merit and other compensation practices. Strong candidates will have a high level knowledge of HRIS/payroll systems, Microsoft Office Suite and strong Excel user skills with the ability to work with complex spreadsheets is required.
