As a Compensation Analyst, you will carry out our Mission of Love by evaluating, designing, and administering compensation programs in accordance with organization's philosophy, policies and practices.
Our Compensation Analyst is responsible for the following:
- Market Analysis & Benchmarking - Conducts salary surveys and analyzes labor market data to determine salary grades & ranges for all positions.
- Job Evaluation & Analysis - Conducts job analysis and maintains job descriptions for each position in the organization. Determines position FLSA classification (exempt or non-exempt) and assigns appropriate salary grade and range. Update changes to job profile architecture in HRIS.
- Budget/Annual Increase Process - Plans, coordinates and facilitates the administration of the annual salary & wage budget and annual pay increase process.
- Compliance & Reporting - Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations (ie. FLSA) and prepares any necessary reporting to leadership.
- Data Analysis - Utilizes HRIS systems and Excel to analyze pay data, identify pay disparities and makes salary recommendations.
- Communication - Advises HR business partners and managers on salary decisions by educating and articulating compensation philosophy, policies and practices.
What You Need as a Compensation Analyst:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, business or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, or financial analysis.
- CCP, PHR or SHRM certification preferred
- High degree of accuracy in managing sensitive pay data and maintaining strict discretion regarding employee compensation information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Excel (modeling, large datasets, VLOOKUP, pivot tables). Experience with Workday and Payscale preferred.
- Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
