This role is well suited for an experienced compensation professional who enjoys analyzing complex information, solving problems, and developing thoughtful recommendations. You'll work both independently and collaboratively with Compensation colleagues and HR Business Partners to address compensation needs across the organization. As a Compensation Analyst you will:

  • Evaluate jobs and recommend appropriate job levels, market benchmarks, and salary structures.
  • Analyze internal and external compensation data and develop well-supported recommendations for HR Business Partners and business leaders.
  • Consult with HR Business Partners on compensation matters, clearly explaining recommendations, considerations, and potential tradeoffs.
  • Support and manage compensation processes such as salary reviews, promotion planning, bonus planning, and variable pay administration.
  • Analyze labor market trends and recommend updates to salary structures and other compensation programs.
  • Maintain accurate job and salary structure information within our HR systems.
  • Proactively evaluate existing compensation practices, processes, and programs and recommend opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compensation practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Manage compensation projects or processes for assigned areas of the organization, including planning activities, communications, analysis, execution, and post-process review.
  • Embrace curiosity, passion, authenticity and accountability. These are our values and influence everything we do.
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Typically 5+ years of professional compensation experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant compensation and HR experience
  • Strong working knowledge of core compensation principles, including internal equity, external competitiveness, market benchmarking, salary structures, and variable compensation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to evaluate information from multiple sources, identify issues, and independently determine a reasonable approach when the answer is not clearly defined.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, including the ability to independently validate data, calculations, and conclusions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience analyzing and manipulating large data sets.
  • Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
Additional competencies, knowledge and skills
  • Communication - Conveying information and ideas clearly and concisely to individuals or groups in an engaging manner that helps them understand and retain the message; listening actively to others.
  • Decision Making - Securing and comparing information from multiple sources to identify business issues; committing to an action after weighing alternative solutions against important decision criteria
  • Quality Orientation - Accomplishing tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how detailed; showing concern for all aspects of the job; accurately checking processes and tasks; being watchful over a period of time.
  • Experience supporting compensation programs in a global organization preferred.
