Nonantum Veterinary Clinic in Landenberg, PA is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our 8,000 sq ft facility that focuses on companion animals. You will support veterinarians, perform clinical duties, and contribute to a compassionate client experience.

The role involves anesthesia monitoring, lab work, radiology, dentistry, and patient care with emphasis on safety and teamwork. We welcome both experienced and new graduates, with flexible hours and competitive benefits.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of veterinary technician experience preferred.
• Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, laboratory procedures, radiology, and dentistry.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to use practice management software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; team oriented.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; detail oriented.

Mansioni

• Provide high-quality nursing care to hospitalized patients including IV catheter placement and monitoring.
• Prepare, monitor, and recover patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Assist veterinarians during exams, diagnostics, treatments, and surgeries.
• Perform laboratory diagnostics (urinalysis, hematology, fecals, cytology) and document results.
• Operate radiology and ultrasound equipment in compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare and administer medications and vaccines per regulations.
• Maintain daily controlled drug logs and proper handling of substances.
• Create and manage treatment plans in medical records.
• Support hospital operations through accurate recordkeeping and chart auditing.
• Provide client education on preventative care, medications, and nutrition.
• Maintain sterility in treatment and surgical areas; manage inventory.
• Promote teamwork and cross-department collaboration.
• Ensure duties comply with state acts and hospital policies.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
