BluePearl Pet Hospital in Queens, NY seeks a compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. You will be the first associate clients see, greeting them warmly and guiding them through check-in with calm professionalism.

The role requires empathy in emotionally charged situations and clear communication by phone and in person. Schedule includes Sun-Tues 1pm-11pm and Wed 11pm-8am, with competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and acknowledge them warmly as they enter the hospital.
• Speak clearly, calmly, and politely to clients in person and on the phone.
• Assess each arriving client and pet to determine emergency or standard status.
• Confirm all appointments and provide clients with guidance on pet preparation.
• Offer emotional support and resources to grieving clients when needed.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and service teams for handling pet remains with empathy.
